Our story

2022: The beginning.

The story of PC MAKER SAF 3D begins in 2022 by making a 2D game in a block programming language called Scratch.
During a Hardware class, we removed a power supply from a PC and thought about our future project. We loved Scratch the first few times we used it, so we decided to use it for our game. Our first idea was to make an interactive tutorial about building a computer: PC Maker S.A.S. (Santino, Angel and Sofia).
We also did two other mini-games within it, one of them consisted of the classification of software and hardware, and input and output devices, the other was a computer science quiz.


2023: New stage.

The project changed its initials to S.A.F, since our colleague left the project and Francisco joined.
This year we took a big leap, feeling prepared to face the challenge of learning C# code in Unity, a game engine completely new to us. Our idea was to recreate the "Build the PC" section of our previous game, and turn it into a 3D experience, modeling from 0 all components and space using Blender. We ended the year with the game half done, a very premature aspect and a lot to improve, but at least our player could move around the stage.


2024: Evolution.

We recreated all the Blender components and their textures using a new program called LibreSprite, we established the place where the game would occur; a garage. On the other hand, we began the development of the project page using the HTML and CSS languages, where the user will mainly be able to download the game, learn about its development history and will have a mailbox for reports and any type of message.
